The Zero Risk Option reduces your financial responsibility in case of damage to the rental vehicle.
With the CDW / All Risk coverage already included in the rental price, you remain responsible for the first $500 (security deposit / excess) in case of damage to the vehicle.
By selecting the Zero Risk Option, your excess is reduced from $500 to $0, meaning you will not have to pay for covered damage to the vehicle.
This option is not an insurance policy, but an excess reduction offered by the rental company.
