Where to eat on Curaçao
From a food truck by the water to a table on the terrace at Gouverneur. These are the places we send our own customers to.

The Wine Cellar
A Curaçao classic for fine dining in Willemstad. With an intimate setting and an extensive wine list, The Wine Cellar offers a refined dining experience that has made it a favourite of locals and visitors for decades.

Baoase Culinary Beach
In the heart of Baoase Luxury Resort, where the sea brushes the legs of dinner tables, you find Baoase Culinary Beach Restaurant. Executive Chef combines his French techniques with a whiff of tropical influences and Asian flavors. That, in combination with the exceptional service, make the Baoase Culinary Experience truly unique.

Pop's Place
Here's a local favorite. Right on the beach at Caracas Bay, this brightly colored wooden shack serves crowd-pleasers such as goat stew, burgers and cold drinks.

Kome
There's a buzz about this trendy place in Pietermaai that effortlessly blends artful innovation with casual comfort. The interior is sleek but not snooty, and the menu features sophisticated presentations of old favorites, from tasty sandwiches to homemade pasta, beef brisket to fresh-baked goodness. Craft cocktails use fresh fruit juices – a treat! Reservations recommended.

Poke
A Hip & Modern restaurant that serves the most Flavorful "Build Your Own" Poke Bowls & Sushi Burrito on the Island! Raw or Cooked? The choice is yours! Fresh Food made in front of you!

La Boheme
A Rustic Twist on Urban Dishes. Folks of all stripes crowd into this vast, barn-like structure to snag seats at the picnic tables and feast on down-home Curaçao cooking. The specialty is local dishes such as goat stew, pumpkin pancakes, cactus stew, and whole red snapper. It's tasty and absolutely authentic.

Gouverneur de Rouville
The Dutch and Caribbean food served in this restored colonial building is good, but the views of Sint Annabaai are magic, especially when a huge freighter passes at night with a carnival of colored lights. Avoid the cute but viewless courtyard; the classy bar has a terrace.

Marriott
This hotel offers quite a variety of food from a gastropub to a pizza place. They offer dining options for every meal and occasion here are just a few.

Number Ten
This excellent little cafe serves up fresh, simple breakfasts and lunches on weekdays from a restored mansion on the gorgeous grounds of Landhuis Bloemhof, the country's most imaginative art gallery. Wander the estate (be sure to stop at the awe-inspiring Cathedral of Thorns), then settle down on the restaurant patio to sip delicious coffee surrounded by trees and birdlife.

Karakter
By day this beachside restaurant has a casual atmosphere and serves fresh smoothies, salads, superfood bowls and the like. In the evenings, when the candles are lit and the waves lap the shore, it becomes one of the island's loveliest dining spots. Go for the grilled tuna steak, caught fresh by local fishers, or the three-course menu that changes daily.

De Buurvrouw
De Buurvrouw is located on the road to Westpunt at the height of the Grote Berg. De Buurvrouw Curaçao is an extensive eatery where you can dine wonderfully casual. The Neighbor is a nice meeting place for neighbors, friends, family and holiday makers. You can enjoy a nice evening together while enjoying a snack and a drink.

Seaside Terrace
Here red snapper, mahi-mahi, and other fruits de Mer are pan-fried and served with a super-tasty secret Creole sauce. The furniture doesn't match. The forks bend. And the service is endearingly gruff. Yet this place is an island institution, serving what many say is Curacao's best seafood. Located just north of Mambo Beach.

Don's Ice Cream Shop
Don's offers an incredible assortment of not only the best Ice Cream flavors but also smooth Smoothies and delicious Milkshakes, great Ice Coffees & our very own homemade waffle cones. Visit them at the Rif Fort, to try their delicious flavors and great service!

Infinity Beach Bar
Indulge in delectable light fare and refreshing drinks at this stylish bar, located within steps of an infinity pool and private beach at the Renaissance hotel. Lounge beneath the warm Curacao sun amid an open-air layout with mesmerizing ocean views.

Fleur de Marie
If you happen to be in Scharloo, drop by this colorful and homey cafe for an eclectic, vegetarian-friendly breakfast or lunch. Banana-bread French toast and quiche are winners for breakfast, and good luck choosing from green-papaya sweet-potato stew, veggie lasagne and lentil-bean salad at lunch. Service is excellent. Save space for pumpkin or carrot cake.

De Visserij
From a seaside picnic table at De Visserij ('the fishery' in Dutch), just north of Willemstad, you can sip an Amstel Bright and watch as fishers bring in their fresh catch. Yellowfin tuna, blackfin tuna, red snapper, barracuda, shrimp – you name it. Pick your fish straight from the counter, along with the sauce of your choosing, and watch it fry.
All of this needs a car
These places are spread across Curaçao and public transport does not reach most of them. Book online and your car is waiting when you land.
